Bring something of yourself
Waves is a place to explore what sound can become. Share thoughtful creations, try unfamiliar ideas and give other people room to learn. Beginners belong here as much as experienced music makers.
Respect the creator
Share work you own or have permission to use. Preserve remix attribution and do not pretend another person’s creation is yours. Credit alone does not grant permission to publish copyrighted music or samples.
Saving or remixing a Wave through the app does not automatically grant permission for commercial redistribution of someone else’s music.
Keep it welcoming
No harassment, threats, hate, impersonation, sexually explicit material, exploitation, doxxing or exposure of private information. This applies to names, bios, images, sounds, comments and published Waves.
Do not flood the community with spam, manipulate reactions or follows, or use multiple accounts to evade restrictions. The community is for genuine discovery and creative exchange.
Share intentionally
Published Waves, profile information and associated media can be seen by other people. Check what is included before sharing. Do not publish private conversations, personal details or somebody else’s recording without the necessary permission.
Other people may retain saved or remixed copies even after you delete your original. See our Privacy Policy for more about sharing and deletion.
Speak up when something is wrong
Use the in-app report or block controls where available. You can also reach Kiefer Studio LLC at cymatics@kiefer.studio. Include the Wave or profile name and the reason for your report. Do not attach sensitive or illegal content.
We review reports and may remove content or restrict accounts as appropriate. If you believe a decision was mistaken, contact us to request a review. Please do not misuse reports to target other creators.
The wider agreement
These guidelines accompany the Terms of Use. Their purpose is simple: protect the people and the creative work that make Waves worth exploring.
